The Rippling River Institute of Caregiving and Healthcare Inc. (RRICHI), a new Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Baguio City, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication on August 8, 2024. RRICHI, located at 2nd Basement, #1 Jose Miguel Building, Yandoc St. Cor. Naguilian Rd., Baguio City, has been officially registered under TESDA through the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS).
The institution will offer a specialized program in Caregiving (Elderly) NC II, designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care for the elderly. It aims to meet the growing demand for trained caregivers in the healthcare sector.
Dr. Noel Cacho, School Head of Rippling River Institute, provided a comprehensive overview of the institution’s mission, vision, and educational philosophy. Meanwhile, Ms. Bernadette Gacad, BSN, MBA, the RRICHI School President, expressed her excitement about the institution’s potential to transform lives through TVET.
TESDA-Benguet Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig delivered a keynote speech highlighting the importance of TVET in addressing local and national healthcare needs. She also emphasized the institution’s alignment with TESDA’s mission for quality and accessible technical education.
Councilor Vladimir Cayabas, Chair of the Committee in Education, joined Father Romy in the dedication ceremony.
The Institutions affiliation with TESDA ensures that it meets national standards and industry requirements.
